Dear fellow kayakers,
** You are all cordially invited to our Summer Social BBQ **
When: Friday 20th August from 6pm onwards
Where: in the beer garden of the Carlisle bar of the Kingston Hotel in Dun Laoghaire. There is parking, Dart access, and sea front access if you come by boat...
What will we eat: everyone is invited to bring along their own food and cook it on the spot on the Carlisle BBQ. Don't worry, there will also be some extras for those who come empty handed with an empty stomach...
Who can come: members, non-members, new comers, regulars, little kids and grown-up kids. We would be delighted to meet kayakers' family and friends as there's room for everyone.
What if it rains: We can all run inside for shelter and still enjoy a nice burger from the bar at a discount price.
No ifs and buts: In order to run this social evening we need at least 15 people to commit 100%, rain or shine, at least a week before. If we can't make the numbers in time, then the BBQ will be postponed to September or cancelled.
So please let us if you intend to come (or at least thinking about it) by email social@ecskc.eu or phone 0857225418. You can also write posts on the BB.

I'm interested in paddling to the event but I'll have to wait and see closer to the time.
Its a nice paddle into Dun Laoghaire harbour and well worth it for those who haven't been!
